9. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary.
- Active accounts: data is retained while your account is in use
Inactive accounts:
- An account is considered inactive if there has been no login activity for 5 months
- We will send a notification email warning that the account will be deleted
- If you do not log in within 1 month of this notice, your account and associated data will be deleted
Logging into your account will prevent deletion.
When an account is deleted:
- Personal and financial data is permanently removed from active systems
- Some limited data may be retained where necessary for security or legal reasons
- Data may remain in backups for a limited period before automatic removal

Some providers (such as Anthropic and Resend) may process data outside the UK.
We rely on appropriate safeguards provided by these services.
